My name is Captain Fred McJunkin and I am the creator of Junk Jigs. I am a future USCG approved and fully insured charter captain located out of Harkers Island, North Carolina. I have been navigating and fishing the waters around the area since I could walk. Since then, I have gained the knowledge and experience to have what it takes to be a guide and lure creator. Junk Jigs is dedicated to creating a one of a kind product and a unique experience. We offer a wide variety of products and guided fishing charters. We cover a wide variety of fishing charters from inshore marsh and flats fishing, to nearshore and wreck/reef fishing. We also provide ecosystem tours that include sightings of the wild horses on Shackleford banks and the Cape Lookout lighthouse, along with shelling, clamming, and beaching.
